Abstract:	У статті досліджено життєвий шлях Романа Бжеського, розкрито засади, на яких формувався науково-творчий потенціал дослідника. Подано характеристику його праць, проаналізована діяльність в товариствах та гуртках. Виявлено багатогранність таланту Р. Бжеського, як науковця та організатора, визначено його внесок в українську історіографію. // The article researches the life path of Roman Brzeski, reveals the principles that formed the scientific and creative potential of the researcher. A characteristic of his works is given, the activities in societies and clubs are analyzed. The diversity of R. Brzeski’s talent, as a scientist and organizer is spotted, his contribution to the Ukrainian historiography is determined.
