THE GENESIS OF GENRE MODIFICATIONS OF ROLE POETRY IN UKRAINIAN AND WORLD LITERARY PROCESSES

Abstract

Since the second half of the 20th century, literary scholars have paid particular attention to the issues of subject organization in lyric poetry and, accordingly, to the forms of its artistic systematization. These questions became especially relevant in the theoretical context of the increasing complexity in the 19th and particularly the 20th centuries of the modes of expressing lyrical consciousness, as well as with the establishment of so-called role lyricism, contrasted with autopsychological lyricism. Research into the theoretical status of the history and theory of role lyricism in modern literary studies is only beginning. Individual studies, mainly historical and literary, on this artistic phenomenon have been carried out by M. Tkachuk, H. Syvokin, D. Nalyvaiko, M. Bondar, V. Smilianska, N. Chamata, E. Solovei, O. Astafiev, M. Ilnytskyi, M. Sulyma, Yu. Kovaliv, among others. At the same time, many aspects of the poetics of role lyricism remain insufficiently explored, in particular the problem of its artistic genesis in world and Ukrainian poetry. The aim of our research is to study, based on Ukrainian and foreign poetry, the origins of authorial role lyricism, its early poetic forms, and the specific features of its themes and poetics.
