ДРУГА СВІТОВА ВІЙНА НА СТОРІНКАХ РОМАНУ УЛАСА САМЧУКА «ЧОГО НЕ ГОЇТЬ ВОГОНЬ»

Abstract

В статті досліджено проблему правдивого висвітлення подій Другої світової війни в українській художній літературі. Обґрунтовано необхідність вивчення в школі роману Уласа Самчука «Чого не гоїть вогонь». Висвітлено історію Якова Балаби, героя національно-визвольних змагань, еволюційний шлях його становлення – від спостерігача до активного безкомпромісного учасника Опору. Подано інсценізацію кількох фрагментів роману. // The problem of the true describtion of the events of World War II in Ukrainian literature is considered. The necessity of learning Ulas Samchuk’s novel «What Fire Does Not Heal» which portrays the struggle of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army in the Western Ukraine. The headlines of the seminars and short theses to answer are offered. The history of Jakov Balaba, a hero of the national liberation struggle, his evolutional way of formation – from the position of a spectator to an active uncompromising participant of the Resistance is depicted. Some stage versions of the fragments from the novel are presented.
