Abstract:
У роботі досліджено творчість Б.Шоу в контексті модерністичних пошуків західноєвропейської драми на межі ХІХ–ХХ століть; з’ясувано специфіку художнього новаторства драматургії письменника; проаналізовано творчі джерела та системи образів комедії «Пігмаліон»; визначено морально-етичні домінанти характеротворення, їхній концептуальний зміст у драматичній творчості письменника; виявлнено основні, домінантні риси образів-характерів у п’єсах Б. Шоу. Розроблено конспект уроку-семінару вивчення комедії Б.Шоу «Пігмаліон» у закладах загальної середньої освіти. = The work examines the work of B. Shaw in the context of modernist searches of Western European drama at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries; the specificity of the artistic innovation of the writer's dramaturgy is clarified; creative sources and image systems of the comedy «Pygmalion» are analyzed; the moral and ethical dominants of character formation, their conceptual content in the writer's dramatic work are defined; to identify the main, dominant features of character images in B. Shaw's plays. A synopsis of the lesson-seminar on the study of B. Shaw's comedy «Pygmalion» in general secondary education institutions has been developed.
