У науковій роботі автор розглядає проблему формування інформаційно-комунікативної компетентності учнів старшої школи на уроках англійської мови. З’ясовано визначення поняття «дистанційне навчання», яке є інноваційною формою навчання та має багато особливостей. Систематизовано найважливіші вимоги до впровадження онлайн-навчання. Розкрито поняття інформаційно-комунікаційної компетентності. Запропоновано методику формування інформаційно-комунікаційної компетентності учнів старших класів в процесі вивчення англійської мови в умовах дистанційного навчання. В ході експериментального дослідження з’ясовано, що формування інформаційно-комунікаційної компетентності тісно пов’язані з розробкою та впровадженням ІКТ-технологій у навчальний процес, повсякденне життя учнів та з підготовкою вчителя. = In the research, the author considers the problem of forming information and communication competence of high school pupils at English language lessons. The definition of the concept of «distance learning», which is an innovative form of education and has many features, is clarified. The most important requirements for
the implementation of online learning are systematized. The concept of information and communication competence is revealed. A methodology for the formation of information and communication competence of high school pupils in the process of learning English in the context of distance learning is proposed. In the course of the experimental study, it was found that the formation of information and communication competence is closely related to the development and implementation of ICT technologies in the educational process, pupils’ daily life and teachers’ training.
