Abstract

У статті досліджено етапи введення в дію військової операції «Оверлорд», визначено основні аспекти політичних впливів на цей проект, з’ясовано технічну сторону підготовки до висадки союзників у Європі та висвітлено хід операції, розкрито роль Тегеранської конференції у вирішенні основного воєнного питання завершальної частини Другої світової війни. // The article analyzes the main stages of the introduction of the military operation «Overlord». The main aspects of the political influences on this project are identified. The technical side of preparations for the allied landing in Europe is figured out and the progress of the operation is highlighted. The role of Tehran conference in the decision of the basic military question of the final part of the Second World War is comprehended.
